Hi, I am furnishing my bedroom and I'd like some advice. My bedroom is 10.5' x 9.5' in area and I will use it as an office during the day. I'd like a comfortable two-person sleeping space so I can share sometimes with my significant other, so a twin bed is too small. If I have a two-person bed/ sleeping area, I want the bed diminished or minimized when not using it so I can use the room to work. What are all the possible options? From sleeping on the floor on camping mats to using a queen bed as an office (!) to futons to murphy beds? I'm looking for creative solutions.
I watch Japanese movies and I see people sometimes using the floor for sleeping... what is being slept on and what is done with the mat during the day?
I looked into murphy bed/ wall bed options, but it would cover up the window on the only wall that would fit it.
Daybed with trundle, preferably wood.
Should I get a full size or a twin pull out daybed for my studio apartment?
Convertible bed options for tiny bedroom?
Daybed/guest bed recommendations for smaller space?
Which daybed style should I choose?
Which daybed frame materials are best for durability, stability, and longevity?
I'm looking for a daybed that will hold up to frequent use. What materials and features should I prioritize?

I'm looking for a BIFL daybed that can be converted into a king sized bed by pulling out the trundle portion or the trundle can be used as a seperate twin. Storage drawers would be an awesome bonus but not necessary.
IKEA seems to be the only place that even really does day beds but I know their beds can be iffy. Bed would be for family kids to sleep on, or an adult guest bed if needed which is why I like the two twin/king bed idea but mostly will be used as a sofa/reading spot in my office. Also considering a futon but that would only be one bed and also not bifl.
Failing bifl standards, has anyone made one and have suggestions for where I could get plans to build my own?
