I never had a G735. But I have a G733 since late 2020 (4.5 years). I like the sound, the mic is crisp. Range is enough to go to the kitchen and bathroom. It has a Dongle (no Bluetooth). The battery still holds for almost a day (work during the day and gaming in the evening). It is absolutely comfortable with the elastic headband and the soft cushions. They are textile, so no fake leather disintegrating. I once replaced them and the headband though with parts from ali express for hygienical reasons. • g332 (thanks god my brother lost it)

  • g443 (sell it to friend for upgrade)

  • g733 (i love it but the sound quality its meh and also the mic its crap)

  • another pair of g733 (got it on a sale for $50usd)

but personally, i dont feel good in the g733, this pair isnt to comfy as the first one i got and also the sound quality isnt good, so i was thinking about got some g735 (maybe the upgrade worth it in terms of battery and sound quality), i dont care about the microphone because i have a blue yeti

r/LogitechG on Reddit: G735 1 month after using - I’m running out of patience
January 2, 2023 -

This is my official feedback on the G735, as I mentioned on the topic…it’s getting more and more frustrating using with G735, which I have never ever had with G733…

First of all, Bluetooth and Lightspeed

What a great combination! You get a lag-free gaming wireless headphone while enjoying a massive compatible to any devices that you want to connect to using Bluetooth: Amplifier, Phone, iPad, ... you name it! Also, there is an interesting feature that joins both audio feeds from Bluetooth with Lightspeed/Aux so you can hear from 2 sound sources at the same time…also great!

But this is where it gets tricky: you get confused! On the right you have 2 “volume” buttons named as A and B. Pressing B gets you more sound from Bluetooth than from the Lightspeed/Aux or mute it; and pressing A gets more sound from Lightspeed/Aux than from Bluetooth or mute it. But you get NO WAY to balance those 2 feeds (only by guessing), that is when you get screwed up trying to listen one of the source (for example A) when the other stopped playing (for example B) and you just forgot that you turned the volume balance toward B…then you’re trying to figure out why A is getting too small despite you turned source A the volume to its maximum…oh wait…source A and B are not at balance point!!

Secondly, Bluetooth…it’s not the Bluetooth headphone that I am (and maybe you as well) used to…other Bluetooth headsets will directly control the volume of the device that you’re connected to…if you’re connecting to an iPhone, it will change the media volume…with G735, it just doesn’t! Only the infinite scroll on the left will let you change the volume of the headphone only, not the media volume on iPhone. If you want to volume down the media volume, do it by pressing the volume button on the iPhone. It’s strange but I guess I can live with that. The only thing that I cannot live with is whenever I turn off the headphone, sometimes I found that the volume of “Ringtone and Alert” gets changed even when I have the option “Change with Buttons” off…it’s weird!!

Thirdly, Infinite scroll volume won’t let you change the volume of the connected bluetooth devices, I get it! But even when on Lightspeed/Aux, you can’t change PC volume as well? It just doesn’t make any sense at all! Luckily my G813 has the volume scroll that works, otherwise I’m gonna shoot myself over this… (just saying)

Next…I don’t really want to say this, but the power button is just some garbage! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t! When I pick up the headphone and pressing the power button, I expect it to power up the headphone immediately just like G733 (with G733, you get an instant response letting you know that the headphone is ready for use), with G735…you either wait for 2 seconds (which I doubt if it is 2 seconds or even more) or forever…and then you found yourself trying to turn on it again and again, maybe mine is broken, I don’t know, doesn’t seem broken to me.

Five, the connection is horrible. When I’m saying horrible doesn’t mean it drops constantly, don’t get me wrong, lightspeed connection is great! However, whenever I have the G375 on and getting out of range of the dongle just for 30s or so, when going back to the desk…the Logitech G Hub showing the headphone is offline/turn off despite I still be able to hear the sound from my PC, but all the macros that relate to the headphone (I have ones that I used and mute and unmute the mic) don’t work after that. This embarrassed me to my colleagues when I’m using G735 for online meetings (Yes, I’m using a gaming headphone for work, G733 did a great job, but not G735). You can see the picture below, my headphone is still playing music and not showing on the Logitech G Hub…Wow! Restarting Logitech G Hub takes time, but it works…when it doesn’t, I have to restart my PC…another Wow!

Six…This is not something I would say a problem with G735, but something I really want it to be available on G735 in future updates. You can see it in this topic: G735 - Sidetone needs to be off when mic is muted : LogitechG (reddit.com)

Seven…Overall, G735 is something that I really want for a long time comparing to the G733…I have to wait for 2 months for the headphone available for sale in my area. The battery is better; the sound is somewhat better; flexible connectivity with additional Bluetooth connection and Aux input; a neat looking design with a very comfortable earcups; Logitech authentic replacement parts; comfortable pricing, software is filled up with lots of new features like Nvidia Broadcast, sound effect … etc. But with the above disappointments, I may be looking into returning the G735 (even if the local store allows it or not) and maybe wait for a better version of it in future, in the meanwhile, I’ll be sticking to my old G733. I was really hoping G735 could be a great gift for my brother in the new year but now I’ll just get him the G733 as well.

r/GirlGamers on Reddit: Best lightweight wireless gaming headset with good sound quality?
January 14, 2024 -

I've used the Logitech G733 headset for the past 3 years and it's been incredible, the sound quality is pretty good, the headset is light, but the battery life isn't the longest. But, recently I was playing a game and it randomly blasted an extremely loud static noise, and my ears still hurt an hour later. I looked online and many other people had the same problem, and they said it kept happening again.

So, to avoid this problem I want to get a new gaming headset, but one that's lightweight, wireless, and has good sound quality. I've been looking at the Steelseries Nova 7 as it has great reviews, but it might not have the best sound quality. My price range is around $200-$300.

The G735 looks good, but there seem to be some design flaws, issues, and subpar sound quality so I probably won't get that.

I'm thinking of getting the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless since it seems better than the Nova 7, and has a more premium design. Also the weight looks to be around the same as the G733.

So, what gaming headset is your personal favorite?

Edit: I ended up going with the Logitech G Pro X 2 headset, I haven't received it yet as of writing this, but it looks like a great headset with good audio quality, and it's pretty lightweight as well. And they have a pink color option as well which is nice

I currently have the 7535 and looking through the specs, I don’t see a difference other than the wireless range. Is there anything so special that makes it $50 more?

The g733 is a very nice, very comfortable headset. The microphone quality (was) good and the audio quality (was) good, and the little rgb accents are nice, without being to gamer ish. The low latency wireless is great on account of the lightspeed connection. However. Output volume, in my opinion, is unacceptably low. Particularly for games where things like listening to footsteps etc are critical (nods at pubg) I'm 40, I have some industrial hearing loss, I need more gain from a headset. The hardware can do it, but the drivers won't let it. Recent ghub patches have totally broken the audio quality on both the mic and the speakers. All of the knobs and dials in ghub for adjusting surround settings and eq and whatever are just garbage. A good headset should just work, not color the sound and provide good flat response across the frequency range. If a product needs those kinds of settings to sound good, then it's not a good product, either that or logitech is playing on consumer ignorance and creating 'perceived value' by adding these garbage features to ghub. My bigger gripe is that the headset ONLY works with the lightspeed dongle. You can't use the headset for anything else. It has no 3.5mm jack for a cable and it doesn't have Bluetooth. For the premium price you pay for this headset, I think that's pretty bullshit. There's also no wireless charging cradle or anything, which again for the price point is not great. The g733 is also a pretty old product now, I've had mine for like, I dunno 3 or 4 years now? It's probably time they retired it. The strap wears out faster than I think is reasonable. Fortunately pretty good quality replacement ear cups and headstraps are readily available on aliexpress. Like basically every logitech product, the rgb LEDs they use are complete horseshit and some of the chips lose a color here and there so you end up with an annoying spot that's not the right color mix because logitech wanted to save like half a cent on the production cost of your device. Most of my gripes with the product are outside of your ability to do anything about, however I personally use Equalizer APO to get more volume and a flatter response, unfortunately this adds latency, which sort of defeats the purpose of the lightspeed connection but at least I can actually hear my fucking games. I would personally not buy the product again, its a shame because I do like it, I like how it looks and it's very lightweight and comfortable but the products many shortcomings just make it a bad buy - at a premium price point. It's probably the logitech product that I own that I am most disappointed with, and I have gripes with all my logitech devices. My g502 lightspeed, my g915, my powerplay mat and my webcam. It's all logitech, and I have issues with every single one of these very expensive peripherals, but the g733 is the one that irks me the most.

r/LogitechG on Reddit: Real differences between G535 and G733 headsets?
November 26, 2023 -

I'm in need of a new gaming headset with mic. I was looking at both the g535 and g733 headsets. There's currently a $40 difference in them during the current sales. What's really making one worth more than the other?

I'll mention I don;t care about the RGB the 733 has, as I'm not going to be seeing it anyway lol. I'm comfortable paying a bit more if there's a worthwhile reason. If I'm going to get the same audio though, no sense in it.

I there are better options at $120 and lower I'd love to hear them as well? Thanks
