Global Post tracking numbers not registering as valid, affecting performance rating

It is quite seamless and tracks excellently both in my Stamps.com system as well as directly on Global Post website for both legs of the trip and both legs are covered under the Global Post tracking number, not the USPS number. ... Is anyone else having their Global Post tracking numbers showing as invalid after shipping? This is a recent development but now on USPS, the GP tracking number elicits an error page and is also causing my Amazon Valid Tracking Rate to drop. These are all valid numbers but Amazon doesn't have a drop down selection for Global Post. Perhaps their is something in the works to streamline this?

i’ve been combing for advice on global postal shipping as a buyer and oh boy this service seems annoying. i ordered a fairly large and partially custom order from the states (i’m in new zealand), and it shipped out last week.

it’s been marked as delivered in city of industry california since the 24th, no other motion, which seems weird that i would’ve thought it would have been forwarded onto international processing? it went to a post office there, was marked ready for pickup and then marked delivered. i asked the seller if they knew anything about it going international (noting some people asked for a customs ID from sellers to try and get some tracking) and they said they didn’t have any information of the sort. i tried the inspect element thing some people did and got a usps tracking number out of it that says the same as the etsy side and doesn’t indicate anything about international, was formatted as a domestic number too.

i’m kinda getting worried it’s not actually coming, seems dumb for etsy to say it’s delivered when it’s obviously not and hasn’t even left the states to come to new zealand. any advice or any way to contact etsy for global postal shipping queries as a buyer? thanks!

Global Post is a little weird. Basically what happens is it gets a USPS tracking number that goes to the distribution center that will process it for international delivery. When it arrives at the center, it will be marked as delivered by USPS because the USPS is done with it. It most likely is on the way to you at this point. That said, if nothing shows up in the next couple weeks (international deliveries can get hung up in customs) I would consider opening a case for item not received.

NEVER google for a business's customer service number. ALWAYS get in contact with support directly from the official website. And if you ever get a request to download an application to your phone or computer when you believe you are talking to "support" for any business, you are talking to a SCAMMER! Hi, I am seeking input and advice on what to do if my international shipment via ETSY global postal shipping stopped updating status since 09/24 and buyer hasn't received the package yet. There's another package to Korea that's in a similar shoe. Anyone experiencing the same recently?

Try using 17track.net to track you item, but cutbacks have reduced the trackability of packages under Int'l Priority Express, and also Priority Mail for some countries. If it's 1st class, it'll usually stop at Customs (this is the tldr; I guess)... I had a package go from US to Malta, and the tracking was radio silent for almost a month before it finally popped up that it was being delivered to the customer finally. I got worried when I wasn't seeing anything than started searching for other people with the same issue. The consensus I saw was basically that. There may be a large gap of time where It is still moving, but the tracking isn't updated, then gets updated all at once. Literally the day it updated saying It was out for delivery, there was also all the rest of the tracking that occured during that time that hadn't been updated. Give it some more time, and stay in contact with your buyer so you are both in the loop and on the same team about getting your package to them. You as the seller should let it ride for a while longer, but if the buyer wants to do anything about it be open to having that conversation and help them.
