I would suggest avoiding it at all costs. Currently we cannot get support for the Poynt Smart Terminal V3.0, Model #PST3. It looks great and the hardware seems just fine, but the software has been one challenge after another. I am currently staring at a unit that is paperweight, and I have 9 more that are not much better - especially if they are used intermittently. These things like to be used all day, every day or they have periods were things just won't load and you can't sell anything. Poynt blames GoDaddy, GoDaddy blames Poynt, and I cannot regularly connect any of our 10 units to WI-FI or ethernet. Customer service says things like "I don't know, it should work." or "Talk to the other guys." Connectivity issues occur at multiple locations - using WI-FI, Ethernet, and Mobile. The Poynt devices cannot even use cash correctly without the internet, because the app that itemizes your sales items or "catalog" won't load. There is a 30-minute lag between using ethernet in the docking cradle successfully, removing it from the docking station and then being able to use Wi-Fi. That is the best-case scenario, many times that has not been the case and we have had to leave the unit overnight. No configuration of restarting, removing the ethernet cable, forgetting the Wi-Fi, or running the diagnostics fixes this issue. Unlike what is described by Poynt, the PST3 Poynt Smart Terminal v.3.0 will not connect to WI-FI while the device is connected to the dock and ethernet, meaning the unit cannot seamlessly switch from ethernet to Wi-Fi. Then there is the back end, if it does work. Settlements do not occur every single time. If you do settle a unit out on any given day and then open back up and charge for another item, often times that settlement does not go through for a month and then it magically arrives. Then it lacks basic function for tallying sales up in a meaningful way. Poynt is pure Nightmare Fuel for me. Let me tell ya - these units are not recommended at this time. Maybe once they get it together, but not today friend. Answer from Pardzee on reddit.com

Godaddy payments
Warning: Terrible experience, beware everyone! I had the same issue when I opened an account 8 months ago. When the first transaction went through them, they held onto the money for 10 days and then sent me the letter below! It's a joke, and I'll never use these guys for payment processing again. ==================== Unfortunately, GoDaddy Payments will not be able to service your account due to certain risk factors. Effective immediately, you can no longer process payments. We will ensure that all pending transactions and/or deposits are settled and deposited into your account, if any. For additional information, please feel free to visit the link below: Why Was My GoDaddy Payments Account Closed? We understand that you may not agree with our decision or our policies. Even though we cannot continue supporting you as a merchant, we would love to support you in other areas of your business or online presence.
