I’m a web developer and I always have a testing profile alongside my personal and work profiles. You could even add 50 profiles and everything can still be separate. Or on a shared computer, you can have a profile for each child if you’re a parent like I am. Not to mention that if you’re on the latest macOS, you have to update the whole system to update Safari. May 20, 2023Normal amount of memory use for Google Chrome on base model M1 Air?
I would be using Safari but this is my work computer and we’re required to use Chrome. I’m just running Music, 8 Chrome tabs, and Slack. Nothing else on the machine and my battery has drained 8% in 45 minutes. Is that normal? I have 8GB of RAM and 6.45 is being used and 8 Chrome tabs is pretty much the bare minimum depending on what I’m doing. More on reddit.com
