I like it. Performance check matches my experience which has some delays to render. I recommend reducing your pictures down more to reduce page load times. I use Google squoosh.app to help with that. I generally have a rule that max 200kB per picture and many I see are about 500kB. Remember when testing to test under poor network conditions so my 'slow' load with good Internet will mean very slow on poor Internet and can easily take up to 10 seconds. Edit: reduce page load times not increase.
