Now that Google has continued to suspend a lot (not all) Google My Business profiles, the only real free listing options left are Bing and Nextdoor. Bing still has some relevance, I get a decent number of Android based callers from it. Nextdoor? Hit or miss, but occasionally works.

Google business profile or now, GMB was the best because all you need is to verify via postcard, have it up, and leads using iphones especially will get you competing with big leagues because they'll land on your gmb maps, you post your page and have google forms on your site, easy zero cost advertisement.

Other sites like facebook Marketplace, but careful not to spam. They’ll let you post an ad, even for rentals, as long as you word it right.

Remember when Craigslist actually worked? You’d just copy paste, hit “renew,” maybe even run two accounts under a VPN. You could do your main job while chilling with the small business, and it was basically passive income until you booked a lead. GMB was great. You just shared the link, and every time a new IP clicked, it boosted your visibility. That made it easier for people to find you through Maps on their phones all for free.
