As the subject states, I submitted a Google Play refund but it got denied. I reached out to Google Play Services, and they mentioned to reach out to the App developers, Crunchyroll. I sent them an email with the details but I have a strong feeling they're going to ignore it/reject it entirely.
Can I go to my Credit Card company and dispute the charge? Anyone else have any experience with this?

Yes, you can go to the credit card company have them stop payment. Most companies will do it without asking too many questions, but you will need to provide a reason such card being stolen. At which point, it that would be considered credit card fraud. You are unlikely to ever get audited, but be mindful that you will have to lie to your credit card company to get your money back. According to CR TOS - or basically any downloadable game TOS - refunds are not permitted so you are not entitled for a refund and they don't even have to look at your claim. CR did in some ways manipulate their TOS for their own benefit, but they also did not violate their own TOS. So really, there is no foot to stand on regardless of how jaded you feel. Whatever you tell your credit card company would be a lie and therefore is fraud. Also keep in mind, most credit card companies may only issue these type of stop charge once and only once. If you try it more, they may begin to audit or straight up cancel you card as well. In the long run, it could also hurt your credit score if you do attempt these type of charge backs too many times. Overall, if you didn't spend a ton of money, this likely isn't the sword to fall on.

I need help please. I recently tried a free trial on an editing app and forgot about it so then I was charged. I reached out to the app's email but they won't reply to me. I also requested a refund with Google Play an hour later that I was charged with a reason of 'accidental purchase' or something like that. I was left with this. They were pretty quick for me. I had someone pick up my phone and purchase (and use) in app purchases. Contacted Google Play and 1/2 of the purchases they refunded within a few hours the other 1/2 was a few days. I was happy that that refunded me at all.
