Its been more than 24 hours. I would have thought the amount of tokens x Day would reset but im locked out of using Imagine (to animate videos).

Does this reset? Does anyone know what the limit is? Ive tried to search it but found conflicting answers and vague stuff.

I finally tried the imagine feature to generate a. Image on android app. I scroll down and there are a bunch of variations of that Image. Do each of those count towards the limit? Grok is very fast in generating images as compared to say Chatgpt.

This question gets asked here daily, twice, three times per day. There are currently three open threads with this same question. I wish moderation would do something about it.

I have been using SuperGrok for a few day and I am quite sure the video/image generation limit resets much faster than 24h. It happened to me multiple times in a day that I reached the limit and then I could generate again after about 2 hours.

And when this limit ends. Just wait 1 hour or 2 hours or 10 hours or 1 day to reset the limits and use again?

The wait time is definitely 24 hours. Pictures and videos have seperate limits. I don’t know how many exactly. But it’s quite a few. More than you can keep track of instinctively

I asked a few questions and generated 17 images and now it will only let me use a few of it preset questions it seems - anyone know if there is a rate limit or I am just doing it wrong?

Questions: 50 on premium 100 on premium+ every 2 hours. I know this, I was putting 100's of prompts in every 2 hours at one point. What's interesting, is I don't actually think it is a true 2 hour limit. Though I can't remember well since messing around with the limit, I'm pretty sure when using a timer I was able to re-prompt before the 2 hour limit hit, like 10 or 20 minutes before. Which makes me think it just resets on certain times. Like maybe when you first subscribe to premium, it just resets every 2 hours from when you first subscribed. For example if you subscribed at 2pm, it would reset 4pm, 6pm etc... regardless of when you hit the limit in those times. That's just a theory of mine. But I recommend anyone who hits the limit, put a stopwatch on straight away, and just send the prompt "test" at 1h40m or 1h50m, and see if it's already reset. As for the pictures, I have no idea, but I assume it's a lower limit than the text prompts.

I use it many times thru the day to summarize articles. I haven’t encountered any limit in queries. There may however be a delay or lock out if you ask questions back to back quickly to stop like a DDos attack. Not sure.
