I did a small experiment.. I generated a video by uploading an image in Grok imagine .. clicked on the share option and then clicked on Copy Link .. I then sent that link to a friend on WhatsApp and asked him to access the link by opening it in a browser or via the app .. he was able to play it .. I then deleted the video from Grok imagine however he and myself are still able to play the video via a web browser. Grok says that the link might be accessible till 30’days. Bottom line is unless you share the video link nobody else would be able to view the video Grok’s technical team will be able to view it for moderation purposes . And the android app is bugged, as usual. When you upload an image, it auto creates a video, barely giving you any time to choose instructions. It feels like android is intentionally ignored at this point🤦♂️ We STILL don't have projects or .md uploads on Android. More on reddit.com

August 14, 2025Is it just me, or is Grok’s “Custom” video generation completely useless.
If you are trying to generate some nsfw image/video, and is on android, especially the restrictive regions, then delete the app, it is of no use to you. Or maybe keep it if you feel hopeful lol. Their "android team" took a literal 2 week break, 4-5 if we count empty updates, and then released... more empty updates. If you are on ios, then it ignore the rant, it is simply a region problem. VPNs may or may not work. They never work for me. More on reddit.com

Every single grok imagine generated videos and their uploaded images are publicly accessible for anyone with a link. There is no option for the user to turn link sharing off and there is no option for the user to delete the entry as well.
such a wierd choice to make it this way i guess...
