I'm attending my friend's wedding in Hawaii. I'm just a regular guest, not groomsman. He recommends "Aloha attire", which is basically tropical shirts, and "slacks".
For the shirt, I recently bought this Express black button up shirt in size small. I'm worried that the black color isn't great for weddings. Also I think the sleeves are slightly too long, the chest is ok (I feel some pressure there so any smaller and it would be too small), and length is good. I can still return it if needed. I tried a few other Express shirts in small but their sleeves/lengths were even longer. If the recommendation is to buy something, I'd like to keep each item under $50, or at most $100.
For pants, I'm thinking khakis. Don't know if it's a good combo with the shirt. Otherwise I only have dark or light jeans but jeans seem too casual.
For shoes, I only have khaki-colored knit sneakers and black dress shoes. I'm bringing the sneakers on my trip either way and rather pack light and not buy anything more. But I don't know if the sneakers are too casual or look bad because the color blends with the khakis.
I would like to also go nightclubbing on the same trip. Will bring dark and light jeans too. Would the knit sneakers be fine for all occasions?
Which photo 1-4 is the best for my situation? Should I buy something else?
