Henckels Pro S knife handle split / warranty replacement
I have not replaced one due to a handle issue, but I did return one that had the tip break off due to being dropped on a tile floor and they replaced it.
Totally my fault but they honored the warranty so I would guess they will cover it.

January 12, 2018Henckels Kitchen Knives. I finally replaced my chef's knife and was very surprised in the difference.
The reason why the new knife is so different is that the Henckels brand is positioned as a budget brand for the Zwilling J. A. Henckels company. Your old knives from your post from 2022 has the same logo as what you would find on the higher end Zwilling pieces nowadays (compare the one person logo on your new Henckels vs the "Twins" logo on the old knives/current Zwilling lineup). That's most likely why the knife is so much lighter and thinner: it's a more budget model than what the old knives were probably meant to be. Either way, take care of it and it should still last you awhile, you can do a lot worse than Henckels in that price range. Enjoy the gift! More on reddit.com

July 30, 2021 - The steak knives included with the set are stamped, not the nice forged bolstered ones that you'd buy separately for a lot more money. That said, I just went and looked at my knives again and my "good" Henckels chef's knife (my other one is a Chicago Cutlery that for all the world looks darn near identical, although it's lighter, and it did sharpen up OK although I can't speak to durability) is stamped as well.
