July 14, 2025Hostinger Website Builders are Terrible!!!
I got Hostinger website builder about a month ago. It's been great EXCEPT it doesn't save my work unless I publish it! I cannot work on a page (blog page or otherwise) and then hit "save" and exit the website, because it loses my work. Last week, I told them about this (I'd worked over an hour on a blog post for it to have saved only half of it!) and they engaged with me on it briefly then their correspondence stopped. I figured they'd fixed it. Then yesterday I worked on a page, saving it throughout, then before exiting the page I "saved" once again. And I've come back to finish the edits today and all my work on that page - several paragraphs - has gone except for half a sentence! I've reported it again, and they're trying to blame an "out of date" browser (that I installed and began using 4 days ago) even though last week I was using fully up to date Chrome. Insulting. It's not good enough, and I'm losing my patience. More on reddit.com

I wouldn't say wordpress is less secure overall... you can make wordpress just as secure as anything else imo. What makes wordpress unsecure, is outdated plugins, outdated wordpress, using plugins from authors that are novice coders. There are links to free trials to test them out. No, it probably isn't okay. Their website builder is proprietary where as WordPress is open source. What if you decide you hate Hostinger's services? Or they double their hosting costs? Now, you'll need to rebuild your website because you used a proprietary builder instead of using WordPress which you could have easily migrated to another web host. More on reddit.com

Hello,
I've never built a website before. I have a domain name and mail hosting setup, now I'm looking to build a simple site for my small business.
Hostinger looks proce competitive and have hears good reviews, but I would like to be able to test the website builder before buying like other website builders.
Can anyone vouch for Hostinger? Are there any others that are cheap and good?

Hostinger’s builder isn’t bad but it’s a bit template-locked. You pick one layout and can’t really switch later without rebuilding. I switched to Durable which felt more plug-and-play. I just typed “plumbing business in Melbourne” and it made a solid site instantly. Then I tweaked wording and added my number. Took under a few minutes. If you’re testing, try both.

Hey guys just wondering what your thoughts on Hostinger's AI powered site builder? Just wondering if there's anybody that has any any experience using it? I'm guessing most people here just build there website with WordPress but given how popular the A.I trend is becoming, I'm curious if Hostinger actually has a decent integrations? I'm looking for examples to use for a Hostinger review.

Yup, sure do and love it. Though I don’t really care for the AI components, just start with a blank site and go from there. As for integrations, what it doesn’t have you can bolt in with JS and a little ingenuity.
