I want to cancel the free trial now, before the 7 days are up. When I log in I get an error message every time. Is there any way to contact Apple directly?

About half an hour ago, I started the free trial for appletv. When I check my subscriptions in settings, it doesn’t show up and i have no subscriptions to cancel. Same thing for the app. My apple id and account for apple tv is the same. I want to cancel the free trial before I start getting charged for the actual monthly subscription and I want to know I can cancel it for peace of mind.
No way to cancel an Apple TV free trial without contacting support to do it on their end?
Went to my subscriptions on play store - nothing shows. Go to my icloud account, it says since I subscribed on Google play, I must cancel it there. Went to Apple.tv " manage subscriptions" where it automatically takes me to Google Play, where again, nothing shows....(yes, I am signed in on the right account) contacted chat support, and what i understood the agent say was that a free trial doesn't show up, only monthly subscriptions? So i said what? So if I understand this correctly, since it doesnt show, one isnt able to cancel it on their own, they must contact support to do it??? What if, for example, someone didnt cancel their free trial, then it continued monthly, would it only then show? He said let me explain and then the chat disconnected. I told him to just cancel it on his end, but since it disconnected, and since they dont send a cancelation confirmation email, i have no way to know if its actually canceled or if ill get charged.. I then start a new chat and explain everyrhing, the page refreshed and disconnected.. and before anyone suggests to call, i did call the other day but was unable to today, so thought chat could help. Why is Apple so hard, why do they make it so hard to cancel? In hopes you'll just give up and continue the monthly subscription??
Edit: yes.. I know it "should" show up on Google play however it is not. It only shows up on my icloud account but the button for 'cancel subscription' is not click able. It only says i must go to Google Play, although I was sure I subscribed via the apple tv website.. not Google play.
Also, for everyone saying apple cannot stop the subscription if it was purchased through Google Play.. that's not true.. my icloud is saying it was purchased on Google play, yet apple support was able to cancel it on their end. Whats not possible is canceling it on my end.. but they are able to.

Hey everyone,
Just a bit of context: 7 days ago, I installed the Videoleap app from the Apple Store and started their free 7-day trial. However, I forgot to cancel my subscription before the renewal date. I then suddenly received an email saying I had been charged the yearly fee, so I immediately canceled my subscription and filed a refund claim.
I was just wondering if I’m eligible for a refund, given the situation above. Any thoughts and suggestions regarding this would be greatly appreciated. TYSM 🥹
I've been trying to cancel my subscription for almost an hour now and it's driving me mental. I've obviously found the 'manage subscription' - 'cancel', but when I have to confirm the cancellation it comes up with this nonsense incomplete message saying 'you must update your account in order to continue. Update your account by signing in on a device running IOS 12 or' .... there is no option to update my account. Why would I have to update my account anyways, it's only 2 months old!? What is this nonsense, I just want to cancel. Has anybody experienced the same problem or knows a way around this? Any help appreciated
A friend of mine had a 3 month Apple. Tv trial which would have expired on November 14, 2025. Because he might be out of town I advised him to cancel his trial based on the premise that Apple would automatically lapse the trial subscription on Nov. 14, 2025. However, Apple terminated his trial immediately. There was no indication or warning that Apple would do that when he selected cancellation. Previously, Apple kept the trial tv subscription active until the last termination date, even if you cancelled early. What can he do?
If you start a free trial for an Apple service (like Apple TV+ or Apple Music) and cancel early, they immediately cut off access. Fair enough — you canceled, right?
But here’s the kicker: if you’re a developer offering a free trial through the App Store, Apple doesn’t let you do the same. If a customer cancels your app’s trial 5 minutes in, they still get full access until the trial period ends, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
This means: • Apple treats cancellations their way when it benefits them (ending access early). • But when developers want to apply the same logic to protect their time, server costs, or content — Apple blocks it.
You can’t even choose to end the trial early via API or support. It’s one rule for Apple, another for everyone else.

Got myself a £1500 11 pro M4 and came with an apparent 3 months free subscriptions for a number of Apple services. I activated TV and music to try and compare with my current Amazon Prime and after a month i said I should preemptively cancel as to not pay forever if i’m not using it (i did that with other suppliers, payed internet contract for a flat i used to rent 2 years after i left). To my surprise services did not continue until the end of free subscription but got cut off immediately and can’t be reactivated for the rest of the 3 months
Found some reports about similar, apparently for 3 free moths you must cancel the last day of the period. Sounds a tad evil, the other suppliers on Apple store seem to keep true their promise
So when I try to log in the log in window shows this with no way of getting to type my info in. All I wanna do is cancel the free trial as its been nothing but a pain to get anything to work. I got 1 day into my trial and my 1 day old account got locked.
Just got it back a few days later and I tried to log in to cancel but get this no matter what... The little window to click to type goes away within a second.
I tried everything. I dont have any other way to get through... The window supposed to be above the little people but it poofs. Support has been a nightmare. I removed my payment info so is that enough?
I started the Apple TV+ one-week trial on Sunday. I know I have to cancel at least a day before it expires to avoid getting charged. My question is, it the cutoff point exactly 24 hours before the time I started or not? For example, say I started at 2 PM Sunday—is the deadline 2 PM Saturday, or can I safely wait until just before midnight because it would still be "the day before"?
I signed up for a 7-day trial. Apple unilaterally cancelled my trial without any explanation, whatsoever. I submitted an appeal (which was the only recourse provided). The appeal was also denied with no explanation.
Today, days after Apple's rude, unexplained closure of my trial and Apple ID, Apple had the gall to bill my credit card for the Apple TV monthly subscription.
I am powerless here because Apple requires one to log-in to his/her Apple ID to access support agents.
In short, highway robbery. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
EDIT: For physical reasons, I avoid phone. I wasn't required to get on the phone to sign up or for them to secure access to my funds. I did everything online to sign-up and add my credit card, so they shouldn't force phone on me after closing my account. AND, it's inexcusable for a multi-trillion-dollar company to not automatically cancel billing after shutting down one's trial and Apple ID.
EDIT 2 (9:18 PM, PST): I had to trouble a relative to come over to handle the call for me. That was humiliating for me, no matter how understanding my family members are. Long story short, Apple admitted its "glitch." The nice lady on the phone tried her best to figure out exactly why my 7-day Apple TV+ trial was cancelled after 3 days without warning or explanation. She also could not figure out why my Apple ID was revoked. She said there are no flags on the account. In fact, Apple dropped the ball so badly that she couldn't even access the billing controls HERSELF to cancel the subscription! She advised me to file a chargeback, and she attached notes to my account explaining to any future Apple agent that she confirmed a system failure of some sort. And even if I file the chargeback, she said I could be billed AGAIN in 30 days because the account is inaccessible even to her.
