When my Dad first bought all of our phones (mine, his, and my mom's) years ago, he put all of them under the same email address. This has been an issue in the past but has caused more issues recently when we got new iPhone 16s. I think because the is an electronic SIM card. I'm now getting some of my mom's texts and she is getting some of mine. I want to know how to fix this? I assume I have to change my email address associated with the Apple ID but I don't want to lose my photos or messages or mess up either of my parents data. I just want my phone on my own account. Can anyone talk me through it?? or point me in the right direction
I saw a youtube video about it and it shows about logging into apple website and etc. but it seems those menus in the video just don't exist in the website.
Any suggestion?
Hello, quick question. When I got my first iPhone, I used my dads iTunes account. However, I want to be able to create my own account so I can have my own private cloud to keep all my pictures in. Is the transition between switching accounts as smooth as I hope it is, or am I going to have to redownload everything (mainly apps)? I’m not too worried about any paid apps/music on the account I’m using, as I have Spotify for music and pretty much only have free apps. I just pretty much want to clear up storage on my phone without having to share a icloud account, thanks
