My dog is a grass grazer. Always has been. Last fall I moved from the suburbs to a rural area with no traditional grassy yard. I have a fenced area, and some patchy grass grows, but it's not what she likes and not nearly enough. I have a long planter, about 3 feet, and I want to plant grass in it that she can graze on when she likes. I know pet stores sell "pet grass," which is wheat grass. I don't know if that satisfies the desire of dog grazers. Has anyone else planted a grass patch for their dog to eat? What did you plant? Would the wheat grass do it?
