Howdy!
Trying to help a friend who has a leaky shower, and I am assuming that the cartridge needs to be replaced. For reasons that are too stupid to go into here, it would be best to purchase the cartridge before turning off the water and removing the old one.
My GoogleFu has failed me and I have not been able to find this exact trim set online. I will post two pictures of the faucet (ignore the calcium deposits, not my fault). Other information that may or may not be helpful is that the house was built in 1988. The original builders were either amateurs or "professionals" that should not ever be referred to as professionals (seriously, some of the dumbest things I have ever seen were done in the construction of this house).
DELTA appears on the bottom of the trim. Scald Guard appears at the top. As you can see, there is a single Phillips head screw in the center of the handle. There are two Phillip screws in the 5 and 7 o'clock positions around the handle.
Thanks. If there is any other information I can provide, I will be happy to oblige.

p.s. This bathroom is going to be eventually gutted and completely renovated, but that can't happen until some other more pressing matters are addressed. So stopping the leak is a stopgap measure.
I shut the water off to change this cartridge and can’t figure out how to get to this cartridge!! What am I missing?
I can’t twist the base. I am not sure what the orange tab does? I tried twisting off with tab in both directions. I tried prying off with a knife. Did not budge.
