Save the pieces to use as a pattern, hopefully the inside is in decent condition. I dont think it will be real hard for you, get a good upholstery fabric. It's a beautiful chair.

Everyone else is correct that this is actually more sewing than stapling. You will essentially be making a chair cover that staples or velcros to the bottom and a cushion for the seat.

This is not very relevant, what is relevant is that all around the Back Support Section there is a groove of about 6mm and this is where the two fabric pieces were originally individually stapled so that when the Section is inserted in position into the body of the chair you can not see the ends of the fabric either from the front or the back (pretty clever to me!).
