r/iphone on Reddit: Did Apple remove the ‘Update All apps’ option in iOS 26?
September 22, 2025 -
The iPhone has always struggled with automatically updating apps. Up until iOS 25, you could go to App Store - Account - Apps and manually force updates. You could even refresh the list (by pulling down) and then update all apps with a single tap.
Has this disappeared in iOS 26?!? Now how are we supposed to update all apps, since the automatic updates don’t really work efficiently?!

Scroll down on that page. You should see a list of all pending and recent app updates. If you don’t see any pending app updates (only recently updated ones) then go back to the top of the page and pull down to refresh it. If you have multiple app updates pending, you’ll see an “Update All” button just above the list of updates.

Did you just do a restore on the iPhone? Because when you first set up your device, nothing will show up there unless an actual update will be released for any app.
