I have a phone number attached to the account, and I enter the verification code it sent me. It then goes to a second step where it emails a recovery code to the email I'm trying to recover access to, which I obviously cannot access. E.g. I'm trying to recover [email protected], and it sends the recovery code to the same email I'm trying to recover, [email protected]
What is the point of 2 factor when it doesn't actually let you back into the account? Asking me to give them a code from the email I can't access would mean that the account is permanently inaccessible. How can I fix this?
I changed my phone number and unfortunately I can't receive any code text from there. Also I didn't setup any recovery email.
I tried a million different things but sadly none of them worked.
Is there a way to contact Google support team to recover my account? I could easily proof my identity, if that's the case.
