Hey I just bought a nectar hybrid but have not opened it yet. That’s not incredibly helpful but I will say that I’m not sure nectar beds are ever actually full price. I have checked their site at different times throughout the past year and there seems to always be a sale for whatever reason. I got mine for 25% off + the sleep bundle free (lol at what they claim the pillows and sheets cost) a few weeks ago before the 33% sale that’s currently going on. Even that sale claimed it expired at midnight and guess what, the same sale was there the next day. So don’t feel overly pressured to buy immediately if you don’t have to; it’s possible another sale will take its place albeit maybe not as good as this one. I watched a lot of “independent” (who knows who is getting paid by who at this point) reviews and I think I’ll like it. I know people who own the non hybrid who love it. I was also looking at an Ashley chime hybrid bed on Amazon for like 300 and the Amazon brand hybrid for like 600. My plan is to open the bed in about a week at my new apartment, try it out for a few months, and if I’m not happy, send it back/get a refund and buy the Ashley chime. The nectar is the top of my budget so I can’t go for one of the $1,500 options; it’s also paid for and I planned on splurging on a mattress so might as well try it and see if I love it. I think you’re good! The fact that you tried it out in person and liked is the best you can do imo. Also, most of the complaints I’ve seen are about the foam beds, not the hybrids. The fiberglass thing is a legit concern tho, so if that’s a dealbreaker for you, maybe dig a little deeper before the delivery. More on reddit.com

I bought a hybrid Nectar mattress for $700 in March of 2023. It is now May of 2025 and my new Saatva mattress is scheduled for delivery today. Why
? Because that cheap Nectar mattress gave out about a month ago and my back is killing me. There is a huge sag in the middle and I can't get a good night sleep on it. Granted, it is on an adjustable base but that shouldn't matter according to their website. They say they will replace it if there is a particular number of inches of sag (2 inches I believe) but I am nowhere near that point. I'll be a cripple before I meet that criterion. By the way, I am 6 feet tall and 190 Lbs, nothing out of the ordinary. Quite frankly, the thought of having to fight for God knows how long to try and remedy the situation makes my head hurt. I am far too busy to deal with it. I need my sleep!
In addition to the horrible product, I discovered that II was not able to post a review on the Nectar website. This tells me that those ratings are false. So, bad product and blatant lying. Screw Nectar! You couldn't pay me to sleep on one of their trash heaps again. I'll post a review about the Saatva once it's broken in a bit.

I bought the Nectar Premier in 2022, and within two years both my wife and I were sleeping in what we call "the Scoops". The support and firmness of the mattress on each side where our hips and shoulders lay is just gone. If you sleep in the middle of the mattress (it's a King so there's an area in the middle between us) it feels like an entirely different mattress, far more firm and supportive. Instead we have The Scoops, which is giving us both back pain. We've tried rotating it, we have it on a fully supportive bed frame, it is clearly just that their foam doesn't retain any level of firmness. I'm pretty much furious. We previously had a loom and leaf mattress, that is now in our guest room. It's ten years old and has retained all of its support and firmness. The Nectar hasn't even made it three years and we already want to replace it. Oh and their "Forever Warranty" is, as you would expect, bullshit. This is all its covers with regard to the ridiculous sagging on this thing once you dig into the terms. "Deterioration causing the Mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one and one half inches (1.5”) that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or bed base." A VISIBLE indentation of 1.5 inches, as in a dent that deep when no one is on the mattress. The foam bounces back enough when the mattress is empty so that no sag is "visible", so no coverage. How convenient. Oh and what does the warranty NOT cover? "A normal increase in softness of the foam pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the Mattress" Also, it doesn't cover your "Comfort preference", which translates to "we won't replace your mattress if you realize it is trash". So ya, their crap mattress sags within two years to the point that the middle and sides of the thing feel like completely different mattresses, but that's not a defect, good sir. That's just your comfort preference! No warranty for you! Absolute garbage mattress, and a terrible company. Don't buy. I did research and clearly got swindled by paid off websites and bloggers.

Hey everyone!
My partner and I are thinking about getting a queen-sized nectar mattress (the regular memory foam one) after looking at a ton of options. We’ve both been researching a lot and even checked out a few nectar mattress Reddit threads, but it’s hard to know what’s legit.
We’re both around 5’6” and average weight, and we’re both side sleepers dealing with neck and back pain. I’ve even got some hip pain that makes sleeping uncomfortable, so finding the right mattress is a big deal for us. We want to keep our budget under $1,000, and the Nectar looks like it could be a great value. But after reading so many reviews and nectar mattress reddit discussions, everything is starting to blur together.
If you’ve tried a nectar or have any insights from other reddit posts, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Is it really worth it for side sleepers? Does it help with pain, and how does it hold up over time? Appreciate any honest experiences you can share.
