If you've been hypo AND hyper - what were the differences?
Hyper - palpitations, often tachycardia, which is scary and caused me anxiety; methimazole (anti-thyroid med) is fairly toxic and I always felt low-key awful while on it; almost no period Hypo - like living in a state of jet lag; poor short-term memory; too tired and “heavy” feeling to work out; swollen feet and face; heavy periods; lost half my eyebrows; no appetite but gained weight More on reddit.com

How do thyroid hormones affect heart function?
Thyroid hormones have a strong connection to heart function. Too much thyroid hormone can increase the risk of a rapid or irregular heartbeat (tachycardia and atrial fibrillation). Too little thyroid hormone can lead to a low heart rate (bradycardia) and an enlarged heart (cardiomyopathy). These heart conditions can also be a sign that a person has an undiagnosed thyroid problem.
