IKEA Pax Hack
First Ikea Hack - Pax Wardrobe
IKEA pax corner hack?
What are your tips for customizing PAX?

This is my first attempt at an IKEA hack. Overall fairly happy but the additional cabinets I had to build on top I would like to do again one day as the inside is a mess due to messing up the hinges a load of times.
Main thing I learned is that wood filler and caulk are your forgiving friends… :-)
Tried my hand at the “viral” built in wardrobe hack using ikea pax (after being volun-told to do so by my pregnant OH).
Total novice when it comes to these things and didn’t fancy forking out the multiple thousands of pounds to have bespoke built ins the spare bedroom.
Started out with buying three pax wardrobes totalling around £700. Built a frame out of CLS timber using the measure 5 times, cut once mantra.
Went at the skirting with a multitool, struggled more than I’d care to admit getting it off the wall terrified not to snap it.
A couple trips to B&Q later to get some mdf to fill the gaps. Scrim taped and filler applied to cover all bases then drenched with paint.
Came in easily under £1000 for a look I’m really chuffed with.
Tried my best and filled the rest.
Always open to honest and critical feedback 🤣🤣🫣
