It’s supported by iPadOS 18 and rumoured to be supported by the upcoming iPadOS 19 and given that I’m coming off my dead iPad Pro 10.5 64GB wifi (2017) this seems like a huge upgrade for not too much money, 4 times the storage, with cellular, and likely will have app support for YouTube for much longer than the old iPad Pro 10.5 which is stuck at iPadOS 17.5.

I have an old iPad Pro w/ the good ol’ home button. I loved it, so reliable and never let me down, then Apple stopped updating it past IOS 17. With the emphasis on A.I., I just had to upgrade and got an ipad probe w/Magic Keyboard, and after a bit of a learning curve, I love it! I think if you get an outdated ipad, you are going to be wanting for the contemporary IOS 18 capabilities. So, I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for. The price tag for a new stings that is for sure, but in the long run, I think it was worth it for me. Good Luck.

Artist+animator on a budget and ive found this bundle that perfectly fits my needs on ebay
Would it be worth getting this?
I won’t be taking it out of the house, I’ll be using FlipaClip, ibis paint, and AlightMotion at the most! Probably won’t use it to watch stuff or play games, it’s purely just for art.
I’ve seen stuff recommending the M1 chip since the 2018 iPad pro model might not last much longer, but im not really a professional so im not counting on needing that much power.
Seller said it’s a 1st generation
TLDR: is this a good model, will it hold up, and is it a good idea to shell out £353 on it? (My budget is £360)

I would recommend the M1, just in case of the longevity of compatibility. But based on your budget the 2018 Pro would be the best decision. For reference I just got a refurbished 128gb M1 11” in mint condition for 600€, which I considered a good value.
