I just ignore them, those noise and grain. And then i started caring more about composition, environmental lightning and editing, and some other factors that make a photo good. I don't make money from photography, so i don't need my photos to be perfect. I learned resolution and noise aren't important, what emotions the photos bring is important. Because my mind is used to ask me " If you take this great photo that you love and reduce half of its resolution, add noise, grain. Would you still love it?". And my answer is always yes. r/iPhoneography on Reddit: How the hell do you guys take good photos with an iPhone 12 Pro
July 21, 2024 -
Whenever I take photos with my iPhone 12 Pro, they come out with HUGE noise, low quality, and horrible lighting. How are you guys getting these good photos and how do you get rid of the noise and grain?

Composition and lighting. Focus on these two and you’ll be fine. Night mode (faux-long exposure) and the built in post processing can make up for poor lighting and shakey hands but it’s truly an eye test for what you think would be a good shot. Some of the best photos you will ever see will be grainy as hell, but the composition makes up for it. Personally I like grain because it makes it look like a natural camera photo; the built in post processing makes iPhone photos look so over sharpened and modified that it’s difficult to enjoy.

Hi
With my iPhone 12 camera settings everything is extremely vivid / sharp and I'm not happy with the output. Being honest it makes every imperfection look a billion times worse
On other cameras / old Samsung pictures look great but on iPhone everything is extremely vivid / sharp etc. Was much easier to change settings on Samsung phones as well
How can to reduce this on iPhone 12 camera? there appears to be very little filters other than brightness
Many thanks,

July 4, 2021 - First you can try tapping on your subject, telling the camera that's the part that should be properly exposed. You can also drag the little slider that appears at the side of the box that pops up when tapped. This will allow you to brighten or darken the scene as needed. If the scene looks very bright you will want to bring it down just a touch. If you want greater control over your exposure, shoot in raw format and take manual control over your settings.

iPhone 12 Pro Camera Review — Travel Photographer - Austin Mann
February 15, 2022 - This Portrait mode w/ Night mode 3-second exposure was shot with the iPhone 12 Pro in my right hand. Simultaneously, in my left hand, I held my iPhone 11 Pro and used the light emitting from the screen (not the flash) as an off-camera fill light for Esther’s face. As you can imagine, there was definitely some camera shake and movement with this unstable setup but thanks to a little Night mode computational wizardry, better OIS, faster ISO, and of course LiDAR, Esther is still sharp and surprisingly color accurate.
