That charger is crap no matter what you use. IDK why auto manufacturers can't make a decent wireless charger that doesn't overheat, but it's like that on every car and I don't know why. The bump is amazing. It helps me hold my phone better and you can lay the phone FLAT and use it without it rocking or moving at all. But if you don't find it comfortable then you don't find it comfortable. If mophie hasn't announced anything yet they're probably just going to do that magnetic modular thing. The dimensions are so similar to the 6s and leaks were abundant for months for them to have announced a battery case already More on reddit.com

Curious what phones/cases everyone is using for those that take advantage of the wireless charging pad.
I personally have an IPhone 15 Pro Max with a chunky OtterBox case so while the phone does appear to be charging, all the happens is the phone gets hot. No charge is actually added to the phone.
I use my phone often as an automotive technician so keeping my phone protected is a must. I am curious what the most protective case I can get is, that also works with the charging pad. Thanks!

The wireless charger on the Mach-e doesn’t work well. I replaced it with a magnetic charger (TWRAPS Dual Wireless Charging Pad... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CM5KD3YP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share ) and got a MagSafe case. Just plop the phone in the general area and the maglock secures it.

So I will be going on a trip soon and I really would like a battery case for my iPhone 7Plus. Not because I don't get amazing battery life but because there will be times I can't get to a charger and I don't want to have to worry about my phone dying on me especially if I use GPS a lot.
All that said, I've looked at Apples Battery Case and I'm just not impressed I would rather have a case that doesn't have a bump on the back and rather just covers the whole back uniform and had a bigger battery. What would be really cool is a battery case that adds a headphone jack back but I doubt those are out now. Right now I can't really find any battery cases besides the Apple one and a few Chinese cases on Amazon which I don't trust enough. Anyone know when Mophie or other reputable brands will make theirs available?
