yeah same issue w/ Apple Notes. it’s useless for group convos lol. i switched to this meeting assistant that does speaker detection automatically. you upload or record, and it splits by speaker + gives a clean transcript. super helpful when you’re trying to track who said what. More on reddit.com

I don't want something that joins my calls. I just want a notetaker that saves AI notes and/or transcription locally for me to review later. Any recommendations? Happy to pay

Ive been rising bluedot, and it's the boss. Chrome extrnetion works with anything in browser perfectly. It also screen records so app and zoom and stuff work fine too. It records video, and there is no joining call. At all. Transcription, summy, extracting actions and tasks and so on. It has a chat with transcript thing which is also great. It has folder management, it's like $25 a month or something. Honealty it's the best I've found/tried and I've no intention of moving. Also, I considered building one myself lf, but bluedot just works so perfect it not worth building and it does everythig perfectly. Well.

Hey all,
I’m a regional manager overseeing several practices, and staying on top of conversations and meetings with leadership can get a bit overwhelming. A coworker of mine recommended Wave as an AI note taker, and she swears by it.
I’d love to hear feedback on Wave or any other AI note takers that you use! I’m looking for something that can seamlessly integrate into my workflow and help me stay organized.

Ive been using Fathom and its saving me so much time and making all my meetings much leas stressful. Being able to select what types of summaries you want is brilliant too. Im on the free pro but am gonna for sure pay for it after the trial

Hi folks - I’m looking for a note-taking AI app that can transcribe audio and differentiate between speakers.
I’ve been using Apple’s "record audio" feature in the Notes app, but it doesn’t separate or identify different speakers.
I'm looking for the ability to quickly figure out what a specific person said in a given meeting.
Any recommendations? Thanks!
Edit: Just started testing vomo ai and was surprised it actually splits out speakers pretty well and gives a summary too. Might be worth checking out if you’re in the same boat.
