May 19, 2022Fn key on K2 v2 no longer triggering emojis on Mac
this is also happening to me. I have a q5 and a K4 V2. With the K4 it works, with the q5 not.Same computer settings, just swapping out the keyboards... Not so cool. Also nothing in the user manual about this. Just tried to do factory reset, no change. Also tried firmware update, no change. Also tried remapping fn key to fn1 instead of MO(1), no change. "the Keychron software" probably refers to Keychron Engine . It runs on both Windows and Mac. It may or may not work in a virtual machine as well, for example, on Linux. The dongle firmware updater does not Though the updater for the firmware on the '2.4 GHz ' dongles only runs on Windows. It may or may not work in a virtual machine (this apparently also depends on the underlying processor architecture , e.g. x86 vs. ARM ). At least for the keyboards; I am not sure about mice. There was recently a new version out for the dongle firmware (3.0, 2024-06).
