I moved into a builders kitchen with Hampton bay /Home Depot cabinets with doors. I was speaking with their kitchen specialist about swapping my existing Home Depot cabinet doors out with drawers. Asking the compatibility, the availability of drawers, etc... The response did not instil confidence in me! Started with that I needed to redo my kitchen, and then they could order the drawers but not sure if they fit. AND The cost would be $25 cheaper than buying a whole unit.

So my question to the sub is, has anyone bought a Home Depot kitchen cabinet with drawers, and swapped them into an existing installed cabinet that had doors?

It looks easy enough and I would like to do this and then sell off the new cabinet boxes with old doors installed to recoup some costs. However, I am concerned that they may not be compatible and don't want to spend the money before
