It has been that way at our store. We are even cutting the first hour. So CS gets Amazon from 9am-10am and again from 7pm or 8pm to close. Depending on how busy it is. We have an outpost next to CS but that is changing soon when we get the Que line. I imagine it will be a shit show. The old CS desk will become Amazon. There are Amazombies that still come in looking for Amazon in the 2023 location and saying "You moved again?" Can't imagine when returns are at front of store 1st and last hour and at back of store rest of the day

My store just stops accepting Amazon returns at 7pm. We put up signs ten minutes before and turn people away after 7. The Amazon customers are pissed but neither my SM or DM care.

Our payroll already sucks. They did away with our Amazon hours despite our store being highest in our district All Amazon does is add extra workload that we are not given hours for. I always, always, always use Kohls return. There is one close to my house/work that is super convenient as its also close to Target and other stores I frequent. Plus, we get a nice coupon!
I just got an order via prime that didn't show Kohls as an option, just return via UPS store, Amazon drop-off box, or UPS pick-up (which is $8)...
I am 3 miles from Kohls. The drop off box is about 6.
I even tried adding Kohls as an address, choosing it via the return page, and even making it my default. Nothing.
Support said it could be because of the reason I chose (I tried them all) or the seller (they weren't an international seller or anything unlike all my other purchases).
I noticed some others having the same issue, but the address change had worked for them.
Anyone else noticing this?

I noticed this too, but didn’t think it was address dependent. Here is my observation. When purchasing an item, you will see if the item being shipped from Amazon or the seller. If shipped by seller, it will need to be returned to seller using UPS or USPS label Amazon provides.

You people are lucky. There isn't a Kohls anywhere remotely near here, nor do we have any reliable UPS drop-off. The only place to be sure it's getting there (by getting a receipt) is a Walgreens a little over 20 minutes away. I don't mind when I'm the dumbass, but when I get some broken/wrong shit, I don't feel like I should have to go out of my way to get it back to them at my expense. WTH is having Prime for anymore? If you don't live near a big city, they don't care. If you do live near a big city, it wouldn't matter. I'd just get it myself. Here's 130 bucks. I'm not sure why, though.

Not so much a flipping issue, but an issue with Amazon returns at Kohls. Since we all deal with the online shopping community, thought I’d post here.
I’ve had 3 separate items in the last 2 months returned to the same Kohls location, only to have Amazon charge my card again a month later stating the return was never received.
For those not familiar, Amazon issues the refund as soon as Kohls scans the item. Most people assume everything is complete at that point, unless you check your credit card statement and compare to your Amazon transactions and know when something is wrong. Contacting Amazon Customer Service usually fixes the issue, but it’s extra time on my end to do so.
So how are these items not making it back to Amazon, unless someone in the back has sticky fingers?
Curious if anyone else has experienced this?

Are you getting a drop off receipt from Kohls? I get one when I drop off at the UPS store (my Amazon return point). The new return system is annoying AF because the UPS stores are located in places I never go. It’s curbed my Amazon shopping as now a return takes an hour out of my damn day.

Personally I only take Amazon returns back to Whole Foods. Otherwise they're printing a mailing label and shipping the stuff to Amazon which IMO is too much latitude for loss/not enough recourse for the consumer. UPS can and does lose things as we know and their customer service can be difficult especially if the item didn't get scanned at pickup. (Sweated bullets over this on an auction sale not too long ago. Luckily the item was eventually delivered but it never did show up in the system. Now I always, always get a dropoff receipt.) Even after this experience I recently took an Amazon item to UPS having been under the impression their return process is the same as Whole Foods. But the receipt they gave me with the tracking number didn't indicate what I gave them, so there'd have been no way to prove I returned X expensive necklace jewelry vs Y cheap ass earrings. I asked for it back, took it to Whole Foods. Also: Hang around at Whole Foods till the return hits your account. If you leave the store you can't prove you gave them the item. Amazon CS is good at giving customers the benefit of the doubt but I personally don't like to take the chance.
