I am a homeowner with a Kohler kitchen faucet that is leaking. The faucet is very old.
Does anyone have any experience dealing with Kohler over their kitchen faucet? Is it worth the efforts?
I am asking this question before replacing the Kohler.
I know these Generators have codes that are needed to unlock them on first startup to put it in Auto mode.
I know from an electrician friend of mine, they have to call in or use a tech site to register these and only then is the 5yr warranty active.
What I cant find out is what is the warranty if the owner calls in and activates it, say fully self installed. Im more than capable of getting this installed. So just wanted to know what the risk/loss of warranty years I get hit with when I activate this myself? I know from looking around it seems Kohler warranty service has to be done by an authorized dealer/tech, but Im willing to deal with that if its just small parts or similar that if it fails I can repair/replace it myself.
Just wanted to get yalls thoughts on this.
