Same with me, I have followed both of those guides, did you find the solution? Edit: After contacting LastPass support, the answer is to disable MFA on the existing user accounts that you are trying to federate. Hope it helps More on reddit.com

July 16, 2019How would you best handle an SSO scenario with different usernames but one shared password?
I have a similar situation where the one site with the one URL has 2 usernames for the same account ... one username is your email address and the other is your username, but you can use either to login ... so the username gives you a little anonymity if you are concerned with the security of your email address being entered in a form, but either works ... and while LastPass has the "equivalent domains" function, it doesn't have an "equivalent usernames" function ... so I think the only thing you can do is just exclude the site from the security score, and don't use that password anywhere else ... but this of course might mean it is no longer monitored, so you have to then keep an eye on their press releases yourself to be sure it doesn't get hacked and release user details More on reddit.com
