October 9, 2020 - The inclusion of two large dinosaurs, and the value you get for the price, and the excellent Ankylosaurus makes this one of the better Jurassic World sets of late, especially if you can get it at a decent discount.

This model definitely appears impressive, taking inspiration from the Gyrosphere ride and the subsequent battle between the Indominus rex and an Ankylosaurus. I anticipate these dinosaurs will prove exceptionally exciting, although the price of £89.99 or $99.99 is rather disconcerting because this set only includes 537 pieces. This depiction of Owen Grady has appeared in many previous sets but closely resembles the character from Jurassic World, sporting a reddish brown vest with several pockets and a sand blue shirt beneath.

July 13, 2015 - With large LEGO sets, the most important question is “does it make my LEGO collection or display more awesome?”. Well the answer is a convincing “yes” with the Indominus Rex Breakout. Because of its polarising (and maybe off-putting pricetag) you will either love or ignore this set. If you’re like me and you love all things Jurassic World, dinosaurs and large imposing prison structures, the Indominus Rex Breakout is a no-brainer.

From the price perspective however, I guess it’s not quite so straightforward – the Dino Defense HQ set contained 793-elements in comparison to 1,156-elements in the Indominus Rex Breakout set; I’d be the first to acknowledge that part count is a crude way of assessing relative value, but on the basis of part count alone, the newer set isn’t terribly overpriced, particularly as there’s also the cost of the Jurassic World license to consider. I do however think that the inclusion of only one dinosaur is disappointing, and it will understandably be a deal-breaker for some. June 23, 2020 - The dinosaurs have been really great in this theme so far, and the Indominus rex is no exception. I give it a full 10/10. In terms of Minifigure design, this set gets 85%. September 23, 2020 - Ankylosaurus manages to retain the classic shapes and stylings that make LEGO animals so LEGO, including eight studs on top. The spikes that run from the head, all the way down to the tail, match up well with the way the creatures were depicted in Jurassic World. Printing adds nice detail to the dinosaur, with the slightly animated looking eye design used again. Indominus Rex is the same mould that appeared in 75919 Indominus Rex Breakout, with entirely new printing a new grey-and-silver colour scheme.

October 3, 2016 - First and foremost, you already know exactly what you are getting when you venture into a Lego project. And on that note, I will say that "LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape" didn't fail to deliver. The animation was great, as it always is in LEGO productions.

Stop a LEGO Jurassic world Indominus rex breakout! set includes impound with lab and feeding crane, helicopter and a gyro sphere. Direct the Indominus rex back to the impound! red alert - the huge Indominus rex has broken out of the impound! Zach is inside the gyro sphere launched from the pen wall and now he's under attack.

June 28, 2018 - I liked 75917 Raptor Rampage and it’s sister set 75920 Raptor Escape (which, as of this writing, is now sold out at both LEGO Shop@Home and Walmart.com) and had I been the one reviewing 75918 T. Rex Tracker I probably would have given it a 2 since whatever scene the set was based on never even happened in the movie. I’m forgiving but not THAT forgiving so I’ll just chalk that one up to an early draft of the script. 75919 Indominus rex Breakout is the flagship set and I was really looking forward to it.

October 29, 2024 - The Indominus roars at Dr. Wu before the screen fades to black. A.J. LoCascio as Owen Grady ... B. D. Wong as Henry Wu ... T. rex of Isla Nublar ... This was the first full-length animated feature made of the Jurassic Park franchise. Interestingly, the short film depicts the Pteranodon with its color scheme from the 2012 LEGO Dino toy line.
