The people I play with say that the mic quality is good. I can open a soda a foot away from the mic and it won't pick it up, so there in't background noise. I've never had any issues with sounding muffled or fuzzy. Answer from justreviewingtheproduct on bestbuy.com

I just got this headset a few days ago, however whatever i do my friends seem to not like the mic. I previously had the g533. The mic on g533 sounds betters than this one. I guess i tried about all the presets possible found for this mic but nothing sound better/ the same/ or near the g533 mic. Weird how it should have sounded way better also having the blue voice.
The mic sounds either too low, clogged, or feel like commentators but worse.
I am wondering if i am really doing something wrong or its just the headset. Should I change any settings in the windows settings for the mic? I currently have:
DVD quality.
Disabled allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.
Enabled audio enchantments.
I tried reinstalling the g hub, reinstalled the drivers everything sounds the same.
If there is anybody out here who had the same problems with this headset, but maybe even other headsets, i would really like to know how you solved this. Thanks!

Try the following and check if there is any improvement: Connect the USB Wireless Mix Adapter to a powered USB port on your PC or gaming console. Insert a pin into the reset port (A) on the adapter to initiate the pairing mode. The LED on the adapter will begin to blink to indicate pairing mode. Once the LED begins blinking, remove the pin from the reset port on the adapter. Turn on the headset. Hold the Microphone Mute button for 15 seconds. The G logo on the headset will blink to indicate pairing mode. The G logo turns to a solid color, and then returns to your selected lighting when pairing is complete. Download and install lower version of the software. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024690534-Downloads-G933-Artemis-Spectrum-Wireless-7-1-Surround-Gaming-Headset Connect to another port and computer if possible. Test with 3.5MM jack connection. If still not working: Perform a hardware reset Plug the headset to the computer using the micro-USB cable. Remove the left sideplate (on the mic side). January 28, 2021How good is the Logitech G733 microphone at blocking out other noises in a room?
A lot this depends on the volume of the noises you want to block out, and how close they are to the microphone, but the Logitech G733 does a decent job blocking out extraneous microphone noise. If you’re a gaming on PC, you can also use the Blue Vo!ce features, which include noise reduction settings.
