Hello! I watched all of the Made in Abyss Anime a couple of years ago and last night watched the first film with my girlfriend to enable her to get into it and watch the final film with me.
Simply put I would like to watch any 'missing' episodes with her directly from the anime before we move on to watch the remaining anime and final film. Simply put can anyone recommend a particular episode of anime which was skipped over in the first film?

IMHO the recap movies were bad, a LOT of detail and worldbuiding is lost there, to the point that, for me, the movies were not ejoyable at all, and I feel bad for everyone who got in this series by the movies and lost half the experience.

Both the first and the second movie have added and extended scenes. There are also new soundtracks added.Hope you live in the US though, otherwise that movie trip might have to wait untill some undisclosed time in the future.

Hey guys, so i just finished watching the made in abyss anime, and well im contemplating whether to watch the recap movies or not. i know there would be new scenes but i dont want to sit for 4 hours with internet that buffers to see repeated scenes. i was thinking about jumping to third movie which is a continuation of the anime. Could you guys tell me whats new,or help me find a way to see the new scenes without the recaps or should i just suck it up and watch them??
