Oh, certainly not. As a long time Mac user, the best peripheral that Apple makes is the Magic Trackpad. That sucker is worth the premium price. There aren't really competitors. For Apple keyboards and mice, both, third party offer so much more value than Apple. One caveat: the touch scrolling on the Magic Mouse is very nice. For me, though, since I have both a trackpad and mouse, the Magic Trackpad would still be my go to for scrolling through any document. October 26, 2015 - More importantly, Apple has used a different material for the runners, and says the “optimised foot design” results in “a smooth, superior glide with less resistance”; and while it’s hard to accurately compare the smoothness of our six-year-old Magic Mice – whose rails are almost uniformly gummed up with years of desk grime – with this brand-new review sample, the new material does seem significantly better at gliding around on the desk. This is also helped by the new mouse being a little lighter: 99g, compared to 109g for the Magic Mouse 1 (including batteries, of course).

The way the mouse charges doesn't bother me very much, but I'm personally not a fan of the ergonomics. I'm much more comfortable with a more traditional mouse that fills my hand, and despite using the Magic Mouse quite a bit I've never gotten used to it. For people who find it comfortable to use it's a great mouse, but it's not for me. More on reddit.com

Hello! I use a MacBook Air M1 with programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut, and Figma. Despite the fact that before buying I heard numerous positive reviews about how comfortable the touchpad is in comparison with the mouse, I was not impressed. After several hours of work, my palm begins to get tired and sore, which was not the case with the mouse. I tried connecting my old mouse with an adapter and it worked, but the scrolling was very jerky. In search of a solution, I installed an application that fixed this, but it was very draining of the battery. I removed it, and am now looking for a replacement that works via Bluetooth (without a USB adapter) and is comfortable to work with. I thought about Magic Mouse, but the reviews about it are very controversial, and I don't know if it's worth buying. I would like to hear your opinion, thanks in advance
