Creative presentation ideas
There are a lot of different types of presentation tools that are more engaging or interactive than slides, but just throwing ideas out cold doesn't make sense to me. Seems like doing something just to do it may not be effective. The creativity should spin out of what you are presenting. What is different about the brand? What is the big takeaway for your presentation? Find a thread and pull it for impact and keep everything else simple. More on reddit.com
5 Design Tips to Help You Create Breathtaking PowerPoint Decks
I get what you’re trying to say, but I think a lot of what you’re recommending be done is very antiquated. PowerPoint has evolved beyond having images for backgrounds and worrying about fonts and placements. I mean, if you’re creating one for a high school presentation, sure. But if you’re creating a board level presentation to company stakeholders, everything you’ve mentioned is pointless. Content rules all over design. More on reddit.com

How to Create Killer Marketing Presentations (+ Examples)
You’re not just handing someone a nice-looking presentation - you’re giving them a way to move forward, right there on the spot. They can book a call directly from the deck, sign off using an embedded T&C slide with an e-signature, or even use a payment module to kick things off immediately. If you want a marketing deck that looks good and gets the ball rolling, this one’s a great model. ... This one’s ideal if you’re pitching branding services or introducing a rebrand internally.

Hey everyone,
I'm at the beginning of my marketing management classes, and my professor has tasked me with making a presentation on any marketing-related topic. The only requirement is that it has to be interesting.
Honestly, anything is on the table as long as it's engaging and will capture attention. So, I’d love to hear your suggestions for some unique or exciting marketing topics.
Thanks in advance!

All right, "unique" is a word often used to talk about me, sometimes too unique. So, it's a risk. But I typically think about what makes me unique, and then how I can include that in my presentations. For example, I used to be a comic book writer. And I was once asked to do a presentation about sampling in marketing analytics. The topic itself is not really interesting and engaging to most people. However, even years later, I met someone who was there and she asked me if I would do more presentations like that. She remembered me, she remembered my presentation. My presentation about sampling was like a PowerPoint with comic characters, with manga characters discussing sampling, asking questions to each other, telling stories about good and bad examples of sampling. I think that was very unique and that capture attention a lot. I do things like that based on what makes me unique or rare. Another example is when I do presentations about the evolution of digital marketing, as I was working with social media before people called that social media, I saw Google showing up and suddenly changing the world, I saw how websites often started with a combination between fans and geeks (not the professionals). People may like those stories, what was happening behind the scenes, what people were thinking back then, and how we got where we are now. That's very unique as that's based on my personal experience, it's not like a book explaining the evolution of digital marketing. But it's a risk. Even here on this sub, there are users who keep saying that what I do isn't marketing. That also happens at many companies and organizations. Differentiation used to be important in marketing, so we thought a lot about being unique, game changers, trendsetters, etc. Not the same as others. But marketing now is often more about following trends than setting trends, being like others and like commodities instead of being unique.

Hi there! I need to build a marketing strategy deck from scratch. I work with clients. I like slides that are visual, but it needs to be balanced with context, so the client can understand things without me having to be there to explain it. Do you all have any favorite templates or recommendations on how to do this?

There is a pinned thread for powerpoint template sites: https://www.reddit.com/r/powerpoint/comments/1ktl9lh/templates/ But it sounds like what you really need is an example presentation. Or maybe ... do you have your content figured out? I assume you actually know what your marketing strategy is, but you know what they say about assume. I searched what should a marketing strategy include and turned up some decent info. Maybe that's a place to start.
