Hello ! I'm Aymeric, an independent advisor, and I'm here to help !

The Rewards streak will give you a 45-point bonus after three days of completing the daily set.

After 8 days, you'll get 75 points. Same for 13 days.

After 20 days, you'll get a 105-points bonus. Same for 27 days.

Finally, after 34 days, you'll get a 150-points bonus. After reaching a 34-day streak, you will earn 150 points for every subsequent 10-day period.

Please let me know if you have any other question !

Hi

I'm Srinivasa, a Bing user like you and here to help.

It can be understandably frustrating to see your Microsoft Rewards streak end, especially when you have taken the time to complete your daily sets and had streak protection enabled. Even though your streak protection shows "0 out of 14 protection days used," there are a few possible reasons why the streak may have ended.

One of the most common causes is a time zone mismatch. Microsoft Rewards operates on Pacific Time, not your local time. So if you completed your daily set after midnight Pacific Time, even if it was still the same day in your time zone, the system may not have counted it. Additionally, to maintain the streak, you must complete all three tasks in the daily set such as the daily poll, the quiz, and the search activity. If even one of these was missed or not properly registered, the system may not count it as a completed set for that day.

Sometimes, technical glitches or syncing delays can also cause this issue. Even if you did everything correctly, the rewards system might not have updated your activity in time, leading to an unexpected streak reset. Another confusing point can be how streak protection actually works. While it is good that yours is turned on and still unused, the protection only activates if you miss a full day, not if you did some activities but missed part of the required set. In such partial completion cases, the system does not count it as a fully missed day and therefore does not trigger the protection. This can understandably feel misleading.

To get clarity or possibly restore your streak, it is best to check your activity log on the Microsoft Rewards dashboard at

https://rewards.bing.com/redeem.

If you are certain that everything was completed, you can contact Microsoft Rewards support through

https://rewards.bing.com/support.

It helps to describe your issue clearly, mentioning the date in question, confirming that streak protection was enabled, and ideally including any screenshots that show your completed activities or streak status.

Regards

Srinivasa

r/MicrosoftRewards on Reddit: is breaking the streak more convenient?
June 5, 2024 -

I am fairly new to this microsoft rewards program so this might be old news to most of you, but I found this board listing the bonus points you gain by maintaining the daily tasks streak for a certain amount of days. By doing the math, I figured that from day 0 to day 34 you get 555 bonus points, while from day 35 to day 69 (same time span as the previous one) you only gain 450 points, so my question is, isn't it more convenient to break the streak after the 34th day? are there any other bonuses not shown in this chart?
