We put googly eyes on ours and call it "Farrah Faucet." She has a mind of her own, and often surprises us with a water deluge when we walk up to the sink -- bad timing for a wet sleeve if we happen to reach for the hand soap nearby. However, we've gotten used to her now and learned to point the faucet to the left so its electric eye doesn't point straight ahead to catch all our movements -- and if it does, the water runs into the auxiliary sink instead of onto our arms. The benefits are worth all the accidental dousings, though. Being able to start the water just by putting a pan or glass under the nozzle is liberating when you're cooking and have full hands. With ours, we can also turn the water flow on and off by passing our hand above the faucet -- quite handy and magical. More on reddit.com

I’m not sure if this is true, but a plumber once told me that a lot of the supposedly reputable brands make lesser quality products for big box stores like the Home Depot. The plumber’s advice was to source faucets from actual plumbing specific stores. Alternatively, you can ask your plumber to source the faucet for you.
