I believe they mostly are a recruiting/staffing type company. A lot of jobs they contacted me about were a contract to work somewhere else. Or they're recruiting for another company, and they want to place someone to work there. For a first job it's not a bad deal, you get experience and probably a decent hourly rate. But once I got a year or two experience I decided I wouldn't consider jobs like this unless they paid a lot or were direct hire at another company because I don't want to take a job without benefits, especially decent health care. So yesterday, I had a recruiter from Apex Systems requesting me for an interview regarding the IT Helpdesk position I applied yesterday. It would be my first IT job if I get hired. So what was everyone's experience working at a company like Apex Systems? Any advice is much welcome also.
