I did extensive research to find the best headset with noise cancelling PLUS noise reduction microphone (for noises in your environment). The best I found are the poly voyager focus 2 series. Hello everyone!
I've been working from home for more than 5 years, and soon I'll be transitioning to spending a significant amount of time working from coffee shops. As a remote Customer Support professional, I have over 100 calls per day with prospects. I'm in search of high-quality headphones that can effectively block out background noise. It's crucial that when I'm on a call, the prospect hears only my voice and not the ambient noise from the coffee shop, such as music and chatter.
Currently considering options like the Adapt 20, Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, and Sennheiser Momentum 4, but I'm open to more recommendations. Thanks

For the budget conscious choice I recommend the Jabra Elite 85H. Solid construction, comfortable, excellent battery life, great microphone, good ANC. If you use Jabra's bluetooth dongle they work even better, but you can use built-in bluetooth on a windows or mac just fine with them. I used these for 5 years and they worked amazing. I dropped them on the driveway and broke them. I was going to replace them with the same model but decided to look around at other options. Sony and Bose have industry leading ANC, it's a step above the Jabra's, but the microphone quality is so bad for the money you are paying. Microphones with Bluetooth headphones are challenging, due to the bandwidth limitations. You eiher get a great microphone or great sound, rarely both. The jabra's seem to do both well. I have a set of sony wh1000xm5's that I really enjoy if I don't have to be on a call and need the microphone. If you want to splurge, the Apple Airpod Max, although 3 years old now, are phenominal, they are heavy and can get uncomfortable after long hours. But the ANC is exceptional, on par or better than Sony or Bose, the sound quality is excellent and the microphone is great for the price you are paying. They are expensive though.

Hi all, I’ve been WFH for over 2 years now and pretty soon am going to be spending a lot more time working from coffee shops. I’m in tech sales and have a few calls per day with prospects. I need a good pair of headphones that will block out any background noise so when I’m speaking on the call, the prospect only hears me and not coffee shop music/chatter etc.

I’ve tried several top models like the Sony WH-1000XM4 and Bose QuietComfort 35 II, but they just don’t cut it. My kid screams like a jet engine and loves to burst into my home office right when I’m in deep work. You need a lock on the door and instruction to your spouse and the kid that you can’t be disturbed between specific times. There isn’t any noise canceling headphone that can cut out noise like that. Both the Sony and Bose are the best for ANC. Headphones will reduce the amount of decibels that you hear, usually 25-35db. It won’t block it out. If you can keep your kid out, it will be quieter in your office.
