If you've not caught the news....
MS have updated the MS Authenticator app to be a password manager (in beta) so that on Android and iOS it will autofill and generate passwords. Native sync with Edge, and there is a Chrome plugin too.
It's not enabled by default for enterprise accounts, though you can request it.

I just asking myself if i want a 2FA app with and integrated password manager or vice versa 🤔
That's neat, but I'd love to back up MS Authenticator with my org account as well.
It works great with my personal account, but I think you may understand why I hesitate to sync my org data with my personal account.

One of the most common security problems on the net is sharing of login credentials between services. One breach and all your data is exposed.
I'm baffled why Microsoft, Apple or Google haven't yet come up with a native password manager that easily encrypts, store, syncronize and autofills passwords. I have been using a password manager for a long time and tried to make my family members use it as well, but it is either too complicated or too expensive to be a real solution for them.
The PC security was enhanced greatly when Defender became built into the OS and the usability as well as we got rid of clunky, ressource hugging and attention whoring AV products. I think it is time to do something similar with password security.
