I've been Googling up and down and the Gap Canada website isn't clear: can we return purchases (online order in my case) made from Gap at Old Navy and vice versa or must we return items to the stores we bought them from?
Why in the world is Old Navy's return policy so strict?
I purchased items online and the current return policy states I can return things 30 days from delivery. I'm being told this is new and doesn't apply to my previous order where the return policy was 30 days from purchase. All the links from the email and from the order on the website link to the new policy and I am being told there is no room to accept a return that is of today 30 days from delivery even though it was delivered 7 days after I ordered. The two items are still being sold at full price online. Even with the current 30% off everything they are selling for more than I paid for them.
I was told I can't do a no receipt return because the items are petites that the stores around me do not stock. I would fork over the return shipping cost since I can't return in store and take store credit instead of a refund. I would take the amount for whatever the cheapest deal you could have got the item in the last 30 days as store credit. They have the tags and were worn for less than 5 minutes when I tried them on at home.
Anyone on here have any tips for returning? Any option I didn't think of? I'm just really baffled that there is no way to return items that are still being sold at full price.
