Online Arbitrage on Amazon: Everything You Need to Know | Helium 10
January 4, 2024 - Online arbitrage is different than drop shipping because in drop shipping, the website or company you buy the product from also ships the product directly to the customer. In online arbitrage, you are purchasing the product yourself, having it shipped to you, then you would either send it to Amazon, or ship it to customers yourself. The process begins with product research and sourcing.

Buy Keepa immediately. Learn how to use filters on Keepa’s product finder. Understand what the trend of offers vs buy box on a product is telling you & how to spot product IP issues based on significant drops in the number of offers. Go in the data tab on a product and get comfortable looking at onhand values, sales in last 30 days, etc. You have to get great at Keepa. Keep in mind just because Amazon or SellerAmp indicates you are eligible to sell something doesn’t really mean you are (ie, you might get cease/desist selling letters from law firms or IP complaints from brand owners or 3rd parties who represent brand owners). I never had any luck with this business model. The problem is as soon as an item goes on clearance its on clearance nationwide so you are competing with every other flipper out there who thinks the same thing as you, buy the item and list it. This drives the price down on the items to where they are selling at the same price they were in the store. Between fees and expenses you are making literally no money. You would have to have a guaranteed $30-50 profit on each item after expenses to make it worthwhile. I've actually found clearance items that I could buy cheaper on ebay than in the store because all the flippers would go to the clearance rack, buy everything on the rack, list it on ebay and then be desperate to get rid of it all because it wasn't moving, so they would take a loss on the items just to get rid of it. Yes I have actually seen flippers clear the rack over here, insane, but I've seen it. Overall this benefits no one but the buyer looking for a cheap item to buy. More on reddit.com

What are good websites for online arbitrage in the US? Free shipping. Other than Woot. I have one more day of jungle scout to find an arbitrage product. Gonna get it back when I have time to research private label. But for now just looking for a good discount site.
Get a monthly subscription to a couple of deal lists and it will help you find out which sites you like and which you don't. Then cancel your deal list and start finding deals yourself.
