September 2, 2018In The Incredibles (2004) the last 7 digits of Mirage's phone number spell SUPRHRO on a phones keypad.
Something that took me way too long to realize is Mirage's abilities with technology is a superpower... or, at least, it can be? I kept thinking about her as a super, and I couldn't figure out if she was or wasn't. I finally realized that the year The Incredibles is set in is not a year that would have the technology she uses. So in that mindset, she is a super! With a proficiency to create and use technology. Mostly because I find it hard to believe that Syndrome did much more than dream up weapons...I feel like he would need help for all of the things he has.
