We have an office with 3 phones with multiple staff that share phones - currently they use a corded handset for all of their calls but would like some mobility and be handsfree.
In looking at headsets they're typically 1 base, 1 headset - unless you go wire with a quick disconnect.
Are there any easy to use wireless options that support multiple headsets so they don't have to share?
There are many others including models from Motorola, at&t, Panasonic and VTech. They can add a variety Bluetooth devices and some allow you to pair your mobile phone to the base as well. Just make sure that his current ear piece can sync with multiple devices. (hosed myself one-time so now I always check for that feature) In general Iโd recommend Panasonic since they actually make their phones.
For example I just bought the Panasonic - KX-TGE263S Link2Cell DECT 6.0 from BestBuy for $82.99 for the house while I was validating my thoughts above and checking to see what was out there.
Good luck!
Does anyone know of a POTS / PSTN non-VOIP desk phone that can pair with a bluetooth headset? The user has a bluetooth headset working with his smartphone. He would like to get this same headset working with his home landline.
Our company has caught the digital transformation bug. One task assigned to my team is sun-setting desk phones globally. While this won't work in all scenarios, office spaces really don't need a desk phone if you have a soft phone and a solid headset. To me it feels like forcing a culture change.
For those of you who took this on, how did you do it? How did it go?
