I've been having issues with one of the speakers in my car (2018 Mazda 3). There's some audible distortion when I listen to the radio, play music via android auto, etc.

I know there are existing posts for mechanic recommendations. I've reviewed those posts and called several shops. They do not work on radio/audio/speaker issues (e.g. Auto Tech Service, Japanese Auto Care, etc.).

I'm looking specifically for a shop that works on audio issues.

Alright, I know there’s a ton of music shops in the city. But I’m looking for something in particular.

I’m aiming to build a setup for a music room, based around a vinyl collection. A nice vintage turntable, receiver, and speakers of course. But I’m weary of eBay and other related venues. I want to know what I’m getting and be able to test things out before purchasing. I know DC has a solid, vibrant music history. So surely I can find a few shops that can help me out.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a reliable, trustworthy stereo/record shop that can help me accomplish my goal on a budget without trying to rip me off?

I bought a new used car and want to install a cheap Amazon-purchased stereo in it. Just need Bluetooth music, nothing fancy.

Is there anywhere I can take it to get installed without getting shit about not buying a $3,000 stereo system from them?

Honestly, even if you just have a friend who does it as a side hustle. PM their contact info. Just a few too many wires involved for me to attempt it myself.
