Hi Canadian parents! I'm looking for a play kitchen for my 20 month old for Christmas. As with most things, I am overwhelmed by the options. I'm mostly looking on Amazon because it's the easiest, but I have Walmart and Canadian Tire in my city too. All the ones I've looked at are basically the same - wood, various colours, come with a few accessories, reviews all over the place.

Anyone have one that they love? It needs to have the ice machine, thats the only feature I really want (my daughter loves it on the real fridge). And of course I'm hoping it's fairly sturdy as toddlers are not that easy on things.

Get a used one! You'll know it's high quality if it's stood up to another kid's play. We have a Hape kitchen we bought used and it's held up great.

IKEA Duktig play kitchen is great, we have had one go through nieces , nephews and it’s waiting for our baby girl now. It holds up, resale value is good! IKEA also sell lots of kitchen accessories for it and toy food. I think they also have a new style of play kitchen also if you search their site. We're looking for a play kitchen for our 15 month old! Which ones do you have and love? I know the Ikea is a classic and easy to customize. I'm also looking at the Janod Mozaic Big Cooker. Any other recommendations? We don't have any size limitations but I don't want anything too massive (none with the big fridge section or a corner kitchen, etc).

Bonus points if you've got a favorite brand for play food! I've got some Cocovillage stuff but am finding it wears pretty quickly.
