I’m going to a wedding in October and I cannot find anything that fits my requirements. I can’t order anything from the States due to the tariffs and customs on anything over like $50, and I need a dress that fits semi formal, has some sort of flowy or puffy sleeve to cover the middle of my arms, and isnt ugly lol. I’ve checked torrid in stores, old navy online, Laura in store and online (the styles are too old for me), Penningtons, azazie/JJ’s house, and none of these have good options. I’ve checked online David’s bridal but honestly the options are so limited for fat people. Any suggestions would be so helpful! Retro Glam online (based out of Edmonton) might have something like what you linked. Cherry Velvet from BC is a personal favorite. Reitmans does go up to 3x online I’ve found Rickis is a bit forgiving if XXL works for you.

Lost in Layers out of Calgary has some gorgeous dresses up to 4x for sure and possibly larger I'm not sure if they're made in Canada, but Curve Theory might work - I think the Kaia, the Tallulah, or the Ronnie are the prettiest Cherry Velvet has gorgous plus sized dresses made in Vancover Blue Sky is Canadian. Some of their stuff is less formal, but I found a few dresses that are similar to what you want. They go up to 3 or 4X Wild Hips doesn't have a ton of formal but they go up to size 30 and I think the Starlight Medusa dress is sexy AF and has the slight arm cover that you want

While there seems to be a good chunk of Canadian made clothing stores, I find few go up to xxl or any larger than that. Something I find such a pain is finding good quality clothes.. I usually have to resort to lower end fast fashion because my only options are Old Navy or Torrid or shudders SHEIN.
Would love to know if folks have suggestions for us bigger body people so we can ditch the shitty US brands!
P.S. I know I’ll get a few shitty people saying JuSt LOsE WeigHT but buddy we are in a trade war NOW. And our money is just as good as any skinny person’s. So either shut up and move on or find us some local clothes.
