How do I find the best price on plane tickets?
Flexible on dates? It’s even easier to find cheap flights by using our Price Calendar (found above your search results), which shows you the cheapest travel dates. This is available on all of our most popular flight routes.
What is the ‘Saved’ feature on Skyscanner?
Skyscanner’s ‘Saved’ feature allows you to save flights and hotels of interest to an easily accessible list. This means you can compare different options and prices without having to jump between multiple tabs or pages. Simply tap the heart icon on your mobile or in the Skyscanner app to save a flight or hotel to your list.
How can I find flight deals if my travel plans are flexible?
I am booking a multicity trip with multiple layovers to minimize the cost. I planned my trip on SkyScanner then went to each individual airline to book all the flights. I made sure the flights I looked up on each airline's website were the same ones SkyScanner quoted (date, take off/landing time, etc..).
Yet once I totaled the amount, the price from booking with each airline was over $2k over what SkyScanner quoted. SkyScanner only allows me to book through third-party website with plenty of bad reviews.
Any advice on how to get similar pricing directly from the airlines?
Hey, guys! Just built a lightning-fast flight fare scanner that can compare and filter over 50,000 flight fares in just 7.5 seconds!!
It finds the best date combinations. It's free, public, and ready to use at: https://sky-db.streamlit.app/
Hope this helps fellow digital nomads and travelers find cheaper flights!
Cheers!
##EDIT
Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay! I hadn’t mentioned this before, but I’m a physician and also run a healthtech startup in Brazil—so time isn’t always on my side!
Thanks to the overwhelming amount of feedback, DMs, and suggestions, I’ve made some solid improvements to the tool. Here’s what’s new:
UPDATE 1
✅ Now supports 151 currencies
✅ Added one-way trip searches (no more round-trip-only limitations!)
✅ You can set a minimum trip length to filter results
✅ Multiple departure locations are now possible!!!!!!
✅ Added a link to my Twitter/X, where I’ll be sharing updates and building this tool in public.
I’ll also keep posting updates here on Reddit—still deciding whether to update this thread or start fresh with new posts along the way.
Thank you so much for all the support! I finally found a tool people care about and that can bring a lot of value to the community. Hope we all get to travel a lot!
UPDATE 2
Hey, guys! After 1 month of launching I finally bought a proper domain and translated the tool to Portuguese and Spanish. Hope you all are enjoying it, we just crossed the 70k users mark! The new domain is skycents.com
